A courier service is a company that provides delivery of parcels and packages by land, air, or sea. The package can be sent to any destination globally as long as it is accepted by the parcel carrier. Many companies offer this service, but not all of them will take your package for delivery. To avail of a courier service, you must have:
1) Delivery address: The delivery address must be complete. It should include the correct street name, house number, city or state, and country. The cheap courier services will not deliver to a PO Box.
2) Proper identification (ID card or passport): You will need to show your ID card or access to the courier company representative when they pick up your package. This is a security measure that most companies have in place to be sure that the person picking up the box is authorized to do so.
3) Payment method (cash or credit card): You will need to have some money or a credit card ready when the courier arrives to pick up your package. This is because the company usually charges for their services at the time of pickup.
4) Package weight under 50kgs: Most courier services have a weight limit of 50kgs per package. If your parcel weighs more than that, you will need to find a company that can accommodate heavier packages.
